So sorry it has been so long since my last  post.
I went back to school and work and haven't had much time to blog.

Here's what's new with Sew Adorable Boutique, I have decided to
only make and sell eco friendly products. I have been doing okay
selling mama cloth on Etsy. I love making eco-friendly products.

I have been thinking about changing my business name for some time now.
It wasn't until recently when I found someone else on Etsy
with my shop name. So I have come up with a
new name and logo. I really like it but I hope it isn't too plain or boring.
I don't plan on releasing it until I get enough feedback from my customers.
I just don't want to lose my customers because of the change.

Preparing for the annual Rock Spring Show & Sell Craft Fair

I have been preparing for the annual show & sell. This year, I hope, my booth will be much better. Last year I had half a booth and no actual display. This year I will have a badge reel display, hair bow display, tumbler display, and shirts hanging around the the tent and display area along with some tutu's.
I made this wire display out of two wire shelving panels from Home Depot for $6 each and put zip ties to hold them together. Yay me!

Here's what you will need to create a grid wall display.
You can use however many you want but here I used 2.

You will need some zip ties. I got this pack of 40 for $3.

Next just put some zip ties down the center to keep them together and trim the access.

And you're done! I bought a cute little basket to hang on it for some small products that aren't hang-able.

It is also fold-able for easy storage!

See!? :)

I plan on finding a way to add feet or something to make sure it wont fall over.
Can't wait to post a pic of my booth & let everyone know how it did.

Journey to our first home!!

Several weeks ago we had a meeting with Cindy, our mortgage lender. She said we have a few things to clear up before we can get approved. So today we started step 1: we financed a new couch to increase our credit. We are patiently waiting for it's arrival today. I hope it's comfy so I don't have to order another one. I hate that I couldn't test it out first.

Step 2, will be finding out about fixing a charge off.

Step 3, will be making sure our bank account looks perfect the month before we go try again. I really hope all goes well in this journey ahead and hope to be in a new house next summer so we can start trying for baby #2. We may wait a year after getting the house but only God knows what will happen. :)

My next Pinterest project.. Gracie's dresser makeover

Got this dresser for free from a friend. It was in their storage building for several months till my daughter out grew her changing table. Now she is 13 months old and I am going to get a start on making her nursery into a toddler room. This is a before picture. I will post during and after pics as I go so stay tuned!

Halloween 2012

This year Gracelyn is going to be a ghost.
I made her tutu, hair bow, and I appliqued her shirt.

Jon & I made some chocolate chip halloween shaped cookies last night.
I cut them out and he put them in the oven. Jon burnt the first batch :(
We didn't burn the second. So we got 8 cookies out of it.

Here are our pumpkins.
Jon's is the grim reaper, mine is the monkey, & Gracie's is minnie mouse.

Boo in the Zoo!!

Saturday we took Gracie to Boo in the Zoo! She had fun but didn't get to see many animals because they were put up to stay warm.
Daddy was so excited to see the Star Wars characters!
